How did this even happen? Today was supposed to be a good day. Her mom had prepared her favourite food, like it was customary after every medical check-up. Gina and Irina decided to come over as well. Making this the first occasion when the McLoughlin’s ‘officially’ invited not just one, but two new partners. Yet, she wouldn’t find any appetite.
April immediately regretted talking about her examination before the others had a chance to taste her mom’s signature lasagna. Not enough that she wouldn’t get a single bite down, now she assured nobody else would either.
The conversation at the table slowly descended into an increasingly heated discussion, even after April’s very minimalistic input. She shared silent gazes with Gina, who also stopped participating in Irina’s and her mom’s now lively back and forth.
Irina in particular had a very strong opinion on the matter, but April knew that beforehand.
“And don’t even get me started on that ‘doing your country a great service’ bit? Seriously?! Is she an army recruiter or a goddamn doctor?” she hissed.
The blonde’s fingers twitched in anger, the vein on her forehead throbbed with every word of hers. One could tell she took no joy in debating in this furious manner, despite how easily she tapped into her passionate side. But whenever her eyes darted back over to the other, much larger futa cowering by the table, she was given a second wind.
Sarah was exactly the same, in her own way. Unable to back down on a matter that was the most important to her. April was fully aware both had nothing but the best for her in mind, even when their perspectives couldn’t have been anymore apart. It felt horrible to be caught in between the two fronts… and being the reason for the first argument in their still very young relationship.
“She clearly only tried to appeal to April, because she knows this is necessary,” Sarah said, her nostrils flaring.
“Please! That little snake isn’t trying to help April. She just sees some big checks and the chance of having her mug on a few more covers, not a patient!”
“You can’t tell what her motives are, Irina. None of us can,” Sarah sighed. “All I know is that a well-renowned doctor called this, and I quote, ‘a severe threat to April’s well-being’. That is enough for me as a mother!”
For all the fire Irina brought to the table, she couldn’t counter the ‘I’m her mom’ trump card, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t fight back.
“A severe threat? Because of a few blisters?” the blonde said, crossing her arms while looking at April’s bandages wrapped around both her palms. “Come on. She just got carried away, that’s all. Right?”
April only nodded weakly as she clenched her fists. Her hands didn’t hurt, as a matter of fact the only time she felt any discomfort at all was during her flight back and only after staring at them for hours. With the doctor’s words still ringing in her ears.
“And you don’t think that’s a reason to be concerned? That she could physically injure themselves and not even notice? What if she’s actually hurt… or god forbid, when the doctor was right about her developing too fast for the rest of her body.
Her organs,” Sarah said, a subtle whimper rattling in her throat like whenever she imagined any harm on her child. “How could we know something is wrong with April before it’s too late?”
“There is nothing wrong with her, Sarah. Nothing at all,” Irina insisted staring back at her girlfriend. “That I promise you.”
“You can’t promise me that,” Sarah replied and looked over to the two girls silently watching and listening. “What do you think, April?”
She had no idea what to think.
Her head was empty, although her mind should be brimming with dozens of questions, each more important than the last. April kneeled by the table and still loomed over the others with ease. Yet, she felt small and insignificant like she hasn’t felt for a long time.
“I… am not afraid for myself,” the huge futa said, her gaze straying around without latching on to any face. “I always knew my body… and my mind would change as I grow. It didn’t matter to me when the doctors gave me some numbers or were surprised how my hair was changing or anything else really.”
“What did matter to you?” Gina asked the most urgent question first.
Of course she did.
April took a deep breath and stared back into those gorgeous emerald eyes before answering.
“That I could change so much, that I would no longer care when I hurt others. That I could hurt you.”
The petite redhead craned her neck as she looked up to her gigantic girlfriend. She puffed, her freckles dancing when she formed her charming, but feisty smirk and grabbed April’s hand. Ankara escort The futa blisters must have healed already.
“You would never hurt me, April. I know that,” Gina said softly.
“But what if I… it just happens. Look at me,” the futa said and didn’t have to point at her massive figure to highlight the sheer might of the literal giantess she was turning into. “What if I don’t stop… and it gets out of hand like the doctor said.”
Irina was desperate to jump back in, but Sarah clutched her hand before she could, knowing they did their part. Now they simply had to let Gina cook.
“We’ve talked about this, April. Many times. ‘No more doubts’. Remember? Not when you’re ten feet tall or as tall as a building,” Gina said in the amused tone that left no room for doubts. “You only get more caring the bigger you get, you know? The girls said the same. Even when we were all together. You were always gentle to us, never lost control, even then we tried to make you give in.”
“The girls? Like… all of them? At the same time?” Sarah gasped under her breath.
“Shhh. Don’t ruin it,” Irina whispered, grinning knowingly.
Gina, just like April, heard them, but that didn’t deter the billionaire’s daughter in the slightest.
“Never, not even for a second, did any of us feel like you would hurt any of us. We all trust you, April. Even when you don’t trust yourself, remember we do.”
April’s lip quivered and she died to get up and pull Gina in and hug as tight as she could, but even after such a heartfelt plea she didn’t feel convinced.
“I… can’t trust myself, Gina. Not anymore,” the futa said in a sombre tone. “I noticed it before too. On a few occasions. I didn’t want to admit it, but I felt it happen… how little I cared. Before… and during testing. A part of me was aware that I went too far. With more than just lifting weights. I almost got someone fired… and I knew it. But I still couldn’t stop. I didn’t want to stop.”
“There is nothing wrong in enjoying how your body makes you feel,” Irina interjected after a long enough pause. “We all must go through this. Every futa. It can be overwhelming when your growth spurt reaches its peak. It happened to me, like it happens to you. Well, maybe not as intense as you, since I wasn’t nearly as blessed, but you know what I mean. All this is perfectly normal. You’re perfectly normal.”
April found little joy in Irina’s genuine smile. One that was meant to encourage her, but it didn’t get through to the young futa at all.
April’s hazel eyes returned to her mother, for these words were meant solely for her.
“I always hated ‘Her’. Charlotte. Hell, I can’t remember the last time I said her name out loud,” April growled.
“Until yesterday. I never understood how someone could leave the mother of her child behind. Leave me behind. But now, I begin to understand what she might have gone through. How all this messed with her head,” April said, her voice breaking further. “When the doctor told me what was going to happen… I only thought of her. And how I could turn into her.”
Everyone at the table stared at Sarah who didn’t look any less agitated by bringing up the most sensitive topic in the McLoughlin household. She nodded slowly, her face turning into a grimace that even April has rarely seen before.
“You are not her,” Sarah said, her begging eyes gave away she wasn’t done. “But if you can’t see that… then there is only one way to make sure.”
April deep down hoped for such a straight answer.
“Wait, hold on. Are you trying to convince her to actually do it?!” Irina hissed.
“I’m only saying, if that’s what she truly fears, there is a solution to that problem,” Sarah said, but Irina shot up in a rage of fury.
“Solution?! Do you even know what you ask of your own daughter?!” Irina roared, fully enraged like she was the one battling for her own child.
“Then enlighten us,” Sarah said in a disarming tone, too composed to offer any more openings for rage, but resolute enough to demand an answer.
Irina sat back down once she caught her breath again.
“I know this is a sensitive topic to you, April,” she pleaded and kept staring back at the bigger futa. “But please, don’t do something you’ll regret all your life. The doctors said it themselves when they compared it to…”
“Chemotherapy,” April concluded without hesitation.
“This isn’t cancer. Nor any other sickness. I knew a lot of people who thought like that. And I saw what they did to ‘cure’ themselves. Who they gave themselves to,” Irina said, her fists clenching again when her rage made way for desperation. “I saw what they were left with once they were done being pumped full of any poison you can imagine. When they sat by their friends and lovers like they weren’t even there. Unable to love them or share their bed anymore. I wouldn’t wish such a fate on my worst enemy, April. I beg you… don’t do this.”
“It wouldn’t be like that,” April muttered. “Medicine has gone a long way since then.”
“But people didn’t change,” Irina countered. Escort Ankara “They wanted to find a ‘cure’ to us back then. And they still want to find one now. Your doctor, she’s just desperate to be the first. She basically admitted that herself.”
“What would you want me to do?” April asked.
“I know, I can’t put myself in your shoes. But I might know people who can,” Irina said in an unwavering tone as she learned forward. “Some ended up even bigger than you and live no less fulfilled lives. They can relate to what you’re going through. And show you there is nothing to fear.”
April looked long into Irina’s burning grey eyes, but her lips remained sealed even after she took in the silence looming over them all.
“You want me seek the help of your friends,” April said, knowing exactly what that entailed coming from Irina and how she approached the matter.
She turned to her mother next.
“You want me to get the treatment.”
Sarah paused and sighed before nodding slowly.
That should’ve felt like a punch in the gut, April noticed. But after all, who knew better what’s best for her than her mom?
April turned her head again and looked down to Gina who, patient as she always was, remained dead silent and awaited her turn.
“What do you say? What should I do?” April asked softly, failing to hide her desperation to be swayed into one direction or the other.
“What you think is right,” Gina said and tightened her grip around her girlfriend’s massive paw. “Whatever you do I’ll support you where I possibly can. We all will. But you have to be the one to choose. Not us.”
The huge futa smirked at last, knowing this was the one answer she needed to hear.
—
William and his co-pilot just ordered the ground crew away on the other end of the landing strip.
April stared absentmindedly at the Harrison Mansion in the distance. Out of nowhere she vividly remembered how often she and Gina watched those planes take off from the patio. How much she was fascinated by all the fancy people arriving and leaving in their colourful, magnificent private jets. And how often she had to cheer up Gina whenever her mom was sitting in one of those planes as well. Quite ironic for her to be nostalgic about such a thing today, April thought. On the day when she would be the one taking to the sky… and in need of encouragement.
April caught no sleep last night. She didn’t even try to and preferred to just stare at the ceiling in hope of finding some much-needed wisdom. Gina was there whenever she needed her, no matter the hour or how often her girlfriend fell back on the same doubts over and over again. After many hours April fought herself through to a decision. One she wouldn’t even have considered in a thousand years. Until yesterday. As she felt Gina’s skin on hers, adored the gentle touch that meant more to her than all the pleasure in the world she realised what needed to be done. She hoped.
Naturally, her friends came to see her depart as well. April knew all three would’ve been busy all day, but nevertheless they rushed over as fast as they could. April loved that beautiful gesture, much more than she could reveal to them in this moment.
None of them showed any indication of hurry, or disapproval of April’s set course of action. Although, Lizzy’s and Akari’s expressions were more befitting of a funeral. They hugged April only tighter the longer the futa embraced her girls. They must’ve been just as miserable April, for neither of them could bring themselves to even attempt to lift the mood.
“You got this,” Isabella reassured, much more composed and forcing a cheap caricature of her signature smile. “When will you be back?”
“No idea,” April said, tiredly. “A week. Two perhaps? Can’t say to be honest.”
The Latina nodded and hid her sadness the best.
“We will have something prepared for you when you return. Promised.”
“Sounds great,” the futa sighed and let the far smaller woman once more embrace as much of her as those little arms could.
Her mom was the only one who wore some relief on her face. That fact alone was enough to convince April she came to the right conclusion. Even if it wasn’t, knowing her mom could sleep soundly was enough for her. April hoped that wouldn’t change in the days to come.
Irina on the other hand didn’t give up hope just yet. She kept checking her phone, still desperate to hear from her friends. She didn’t realise April made her mind up long before driving out to the Harrison’s airfield. Or she simply refused to accept the inevitable still.
And Gina. She would be there no matter April’s choice. Her fiery hair flowing in the wind, unyielding and unmoving just like the rest of her. The stability April couldn’t be without in her life anymore. About time for her to actively contributing to their relationship for once… and make sure it could last.
“So, this is it,” the futa said when she stood before the three. “I… will text you… when I feel like it. I hope that’s okay.”
“Of course it is!” Sarah said and Escort Bayan jumped in her gigantic daughter’s arms once she kneeled down. “I’ll pray every night for you, my little girl.”
April wasn’t sure if she should either laugh or cry. A bit of both probably. She wasn’t convinced she would count on any divine intervention, but it couldn’t hurt either, right? So, she just kept embracing her mother in silence.
“I hope I’m doing the right thing, mom,” April whispered.
Sarah paused and gently stroke through April’s darkening hair.
“I don’t care about right or wrong,” Sarah said softly and kissed her daughter’s forehead. “Just be safe. That is all that matters.”
April nodded and only after a solid minute let go of her mother.
Irina on the other hand showed no weakness, if anything she stood taller and more defying before April than ever before.
“You’re making a mistake,” Irina said. “You are given a gift. Don’t throw it away because of false promises.”
April sighed and smirked at Irina, silently adoring how the Croatian still put up a fight, long after the battle was already lost.
“Maybe I am. But it is worth the risk. False or not she offers me more than enough for it,” April said.
“Like what?”
She rehearsed this conversation often enough in her head last night that these words came easier to her. Well, easier at least.
“To hold on to what I already have,” April said, a weak smile gracing her sad face. “I could contemplate what I might lose… maybe I should. But that is more important to me. The most important thing actually.”
This time she knew she just broke Irina’s fighting spirit. It was written on her face.
April walked up to the fellow futa and embraced her before Irina could react. Even if she tried, she had no means to reject a hug from a woman this much bigger than her anyway. But Irina didn’t even try.
“I want you to know something before I go,” April whispered as she pulled the blonde closer. “You were always right. About everything. The last few weeks… were the best time of my life. But today I can’t follow you. I hope you can accept that… and won’t be mad at me.”
Irina shivered as well and let her arms stroke along the bigger futa’s broad back in a very much motherly, gentile fashion.
“I will never be mad at you,” she said and chuckled with a whisper. “My big kitten.”
April smiled before her expression turned sour. And then those ugly tears came out, the kind she promised to Gina she’d avoid at all costs a few hours ago. Irina was getting just as emotional the longer the two futas held each other.
“Thank you… for everything,” April said, her make up slowly dripping down her reddening cheeks. “And trying to stop me.”
“They could still call you know,” Irina winked, but made it clear this was a joke at best.
April hoped she could leave Irina with both having a smile on their faces and thankfully it turned out that way.
The engine was howling in the background. It was time. There was just one more person left who deserved her full attention. The one being the most helpful and constructive with often saying the least… and giving so much in so many ways.
“You were right,” April said to Gina smiling, while wiping her tears away. “I couldn’t keep it together.”
“Nobody expected you would,” the redhead said and reached out to her giantess girlfriend. “Can you give me a lift?”
April’s massive fingers reached around Gina’s slim waist and lifted her off the floor, holding her before her face like both loved it most.
“Don’t make this a farewell, April,” the redhead said and caressed those wet cheeks before her. “See it as a new beginning. Once this is over, we can be together… for real. Like we always talked about.”
The futa smirked, the weight on her shoulders slowly fell of the longer she stared in those emerald eyes.
“Like we always talked about,” April repeated and pulled Gina closer. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Gina leaned in kissed those huge lips like only she could.
“You better get going, or they’ll leave without you,” she eventually said first, when April still refused to put her down.
“A part of me hopes they would,” April admitted and sighed. “No… it’s okay. I gotta do this.”
“Promise me one thing. Don’t let them take away your smile,” Gina whispered softly. “I can’t imagine my big girl without it.”
“I’ll try my best,” April said, her lip quivering once more.
Her gaze travelled back to Irina and her mom and the girls.
“Thank you for everything. I love you all. See you soon… I hope.”
April looked out the window while the engines roared moments before take-off. She faked a smile and waved back, until the thumping in her chest and that knot in her throat eased. As she was pushed into cushions placed on top of multiple folded back seats she found some peace. This was a good moment to let go, she thought.
She was on a hell of a ride and had her fair share of fun… more like, all of it. Maybe this was always the way it was supposed to end. Taking the last turn before she’d fall of the cliff. Seeing her friends and family slowly fade away in the distance made her realise that this was the sort of closure she hoped for last night. Gina was right, this could be a new beginning. A new chapter to her life… after this final test.
